چکیده

E-learning technology has been emerged to enrich learning in schools, universities and everywhere. Learners have grown up with computer and Internet and they expect to continue using them in the process of getting an education. Recently educational researchers have focused on aspects of personal characteristics such as learning styles, their impact on learning, and also how they can be incorporated in technology enhanced learning. This paper presents a system of an adaptive elearning course including introduction, contents, assignments, Exercises. This system is developed using an open source learning management system LAMS (Learning Activity Management System) to present course materials in different ways according to learner’s learning styles. Several patterns discovered where learners with different learning style showed significantly different preferences in e-learning environment. These results seem to be important in order to provide courses that include features which fit to different learning styles.

A Model for an Intelligent and Adaptive Tutor based on Web by Jackson's Learning Styles Profiler and Expert Systems

styles profiler is a modern measure of individual differences in learning style. Then learner's model is obtained and an Expert system simulator plans a " pre-test " and then rates him. The concept would be presented if the learner scores enough. Subsequently, the system evaluates him by a " post-test ". Finally the learner's model would be updated by the modeler based on try-and-error. The pro...

Adaptive E-Learning for Data Encoding and Computer Networks based on Learner's Styles

In this paper, a new model for adaptive e-learning based on learner's styles is presented. In the previous work, the dimensions of learner's styles given by Felder-Silverman did not consider some important issues of the learner himself. Here, new learner's parameters such as his social environment, health conditions, psychological and economical states are taken into account. Such parameters gr...

Adaptive Quaternion Attitude Control of Aerodynamic Flight Control Vehicles

Conventional quaternion based methods have been extensively employed for spacecraft attitude control where the aerodynamic forces can be neglected. In the presence of aerodynamic forces, the flight attitude control is more complicated due to aerodynamic moments and inertia uncertainties. In this paper, a robust nero-adaptive quat...
